School closure - Tuesday 5th January 2021

Re: Coronavirus update – school closure to the vast majority of pupils

To view the letter regarding home learning click this link, more details can be found under the 'Home Learning' tab.

As advised by the government, school will be closed from Tuesday 5th January 2021 until at least February half term, we will do all we can to stay open for the children of key workers and children with an allocated Social Worker or Educational Health Care Plan (EHC).  All other children will need to stay at home, so you cannot send your child into school from Monday onwards.

Please note that this is a national closure – as you may have heard in the news – so while it is a challenging situation, we are not alone. We’ll re-open fully as soon as we can and will let you know when this changes.

Online learning will begin for all children on Tuesday 5th January which will include online lessons.  Details and information of how to access this is on our website via the ‘Home Learning’ tab for each school.

If you or your partner are a keyworker please click here to complete the online form.  Children registered previously will be given priority.

If your child usually receives free school meals we will also be in touch with more information about how we will continue to provide this.

Thank you again for your continued support and we will communicate with you as we get any updated information.
